The "Stink Tree" coffee table by Dylan Gold is really cool and has a hole in the outline of a tree.



It's made of solid mdf layers coated in automotive laquer, and the veneer and extruded graphic are all customizable. However, calling a gorgeous table a terrible name is silly, and don't get me wrong, it is gorgeous. Also this probably wouldn't work in my house- even with regular furniture my friends spill stuff all over. Plus it looks like you'd need a special 1-micron vacuum cleaner attachment to get crumbs out.
