When Obama Wins is apparently trying to improve upon the genius website Barack Obama Is Your New Bicycle (previously mentioned in this forum) by slightly changing the meme and allowing user-generated content and putting ads on the site.



To me, cluttering up the page with tags, links, and ads ruins the simplicity and mystery of the original concept, which I thought were the two single-most appealing aspects of the idea.... although to be fair, a check back to the original B.O.I.Y.N.B. shows that they are now linking to Amazon so you can buy the book, so they haven't kept it real either. Wow. That was fast.

And still, some of the W.O.W. posts are funny, and hey, you gotta pay the bills. Although I suspect Jason Kottke doesn't exactly have creditors calling him on the weekends.
