Hey it's my birthday next week so I thought I'd post a few things I've been admiring, so here are some things I would be happy to unwrap! Following which I will tell you about a few things I do NOT wish to receive.

THINGS I DO WANT FOR MY BIRTHDAY

I love most everything from Muscovie Designs' handmade silver and resin jewelry collection - I have given these as gifts but only have one little pair of stud earrings myself.




These sweet herb snips with multiple blades.



A new wallet, like perhaps one of these colorful ones from MyWalit.



A Smart Car, although I hear the waiting list is already 18 months long.



This cute handmade industrial felt purse from Etsy.



This space-saving Spice Stack, which would come in handy in my limited kitchen cabinetry setup.



This bra made out of bacon- I LOVE bacon. Just kidding. (About wanting the bra, not about the love of bacon. I do love bacon. I just don't want it next to my skin.)





THINGS I DO NOT WANT FOR MY BIRTHDAY

Please don't get me one of Christine Wong Yap's conceptual anti-gifts because that would be soooo annoying. Even though from an art perspective they are pretty cool.



Also please don't buy me this measuring tape belt from Archetype that will remind me how many centimeters my muffin top grows each day.



Also please don't assume I am interested in owning this Japanese bubble wrap toy keychain. This is more for your own aural protection and in support of the continuing health of our friendship because I can't think of anything more irritating (except maybe people who can't put down their iPhones, EVER, you know who you are) than someone popping this thing all day long.
