England's Office of Government Commerce And Their Lewd Logo

England's Office of Government Commerce unveiled this new logo, for which they paid £14,000 (in US dollars, that's like, a zillion at this point. Or $28,000.) Looks great, right?




Until you turn it on its side, and see that it looks like a rotund stick figure guy with his hand on his wiener.



Oops!

The best part is this quote from the UK Telegraph (emphasis mine):
A spokesman for OGC said: “It is true that it caused a few titters among some staff when viewed on its side, but on consideration we concluded that the effect was generic to the particular combination of the letters OGC - and it is not inappropriate to an organisation that’s looking to have a firm grip on Government spend.”
That's a firm grip, all right. On his wiener.
