PopSci did a ranking of the 50 Greenest Cities- the rankings are out and the Bay Area is doing well. San Francisco is #2, with Oakland coming in at #4 and Berkeley at #7 (and everyone thinks Berkeley is hippie ground zero. Take that!)

The Bay Area continues to reprazent with Sunnyvale at #13, Santa Rosa at #23, Concord at #43 and Fremont at #44. Oregon, the Boston area, some of those frosty Midwestern spots, and the 'burbs of LA's megalopolis all have good standing on the list as well.
