Singapore Rising In My Esteem With Additional Architectural Wonder
What is it about Singapore's architecture being cool all of a sudden? Who knew? Am I just late to this party? After posting about this amazing pro-eco turf-roofed university building I must say I didn't think there would be any other Singapore architectural-related posts for a while. But now we see this- the cool hive-like structure of Singapore's La Salle Art Institute.

They call it an "Art Canyon." I call it "Something Else Making Me Think Singapore Is Cooler Than I Previously Thought And Making Me Want To Go There." Supposedly they have great street food there too so maybe I should book a trip. I guess the whole, caning thing is a little bit of a turnoff but as long as I mind my P's and Q's I should be OK. "OK" meaning, of course, in this context, not caned.
I already have the hotel picked out. Oh, Singapore, you are a temptress!
The architect is RSP; I saw the story on DesignBoom.
