Super Easy And Cute DIY Gift Tags - Why Didn't I Think Of That?

It is the mark of a truly amazing and crafty indie hipster to repurpose a technique we all learned in 2nd grade and make it relevant in the here and now. Derek and Lauren from The Curiosity Shoppe has done just that over on the Design*Sponge DIY post (a newish feature on D*S that I am pretty much loving a lot) with their super cool and easy gift tag ideas that require merely a stamp pad, a black pen, and a little bit of flair.

I'm sure you all remember Mr. Thumbprint owl from your old paste-eatin' days...

Also, the pencil eraser tree, and the half pencil eraser shrooms (you cut the eraser with an x-acto knife.)

It's a *little* funny to me that they ask you to click through for more instructions because these seem rather self-explanatory, but maybe some people just need a little more handholding than others, eh? At any rate, the instructions are here, in case I just inadvertently offended your delicate little brain.
