Interesting Tokyo Architecture

Tokyo has a lot of weird architecture, mostly because the whole city was rebuilt after WWII with a hodgepodge of modern, wacky, and seemingly unplanned structures. A few highlights...

Amorphous cloud cutouts cover the windows in this Kanda area office building

Making the most of a small space with this superskinny Roppongi building- appearing to be about the depth of a car

The coffee cups building and giant chef head building, on adjacent corners, appropriately hearken your arrival to the wholesale restaurant district of Kappabashi, in Asakusa

I call this one the Gothic Rocket Ship, in Shibuya
