MailboxTees + Pim's List + Wood Type Museum = Internet Synergy

MailboxTees got a mention on Pim's List- which is much appreciated- and I started poking around and found a whole bunch of other cool stuff on there. I mean, natch, if you like MailboxTees, you're probably pretty awesome.

I like weird, super-specific museums and tourist attractions so was pleased to find this post about the Hamilton Wood Type Museum in Wisconsin- apparently the only museum of its kind in the US. I recently made an art piece out of old wood type letters which I will post here soon to show you I'm not all talk when it comes to my love for wood type. If I ever find myself out in Wisconsin I am going to make a stop!

I love the museum's website as well- highlighting and juxtaposing multiple printing block fonts.

And I love how the tangled web of the internets can lead to such interesting symbiotic discoveries.
