Clock Sort Of Tells You What Time It Is

This "It's About Time" clock doesn't really tell you what time it is, it says things like "nearly twelve" and "quarter to one" and stuff like that.

Although if you're not British, when your clock reads "just gone half twelve" you might not immediately think "it's a little past 12:30." You might think, "I wish I never got this stupid crappy Yoda clock because now I have no idea what the f*** time it is." So there may be some cultural barriers to overcome once the thing goes global.

They say the idea "came from observing how people actually view time e.g. if it were 11:57 a person would probably say "it's nearly twelve"." But I implore you to remember that clocks don't tell time, people tell time. Using clocks. Accurate, time-telling clocks that possess the ability to tell you accurately what time it is since people can't naturally do that. So let people tell time how they want to, but please don't make my clock more human-like, because that takes away all of its clocky goodness, namely, its ability to TELL TIME. Which is what clocks are for.
