Tricky Wooden Clock Makers No Longer Able To Maintain Outrageous Profit Margins
So, I'm sure many people have seen these cool clocks before- I have long coveted them, but balked at the $150 price tag.

This month ReadyMade Magazine had a tutorial on how to make your own. The gist of it is that you make a wooden housing for a $9.99 digital clock that has a super thin piece of wooden veneer smooshed up against the clock face. That's it. I seriously doubt it costs the company more than about $12 to make the thing. Jerks.
